Trischka has established himself as both a wildly inventive recording artist and on of America's foremost visionaries of the five-string banjo.  Trishcka's influence in igniting the world of progressive acoustic music has permanently altered the face of American roots music and influenced a generation of banjo players with his work with the Alman Brothers, Earl Scruggs, Ralph Stanley and Pete Seeger.
