See Viking encampments, sword battles and at night, flaming axes!   Learn to throw an axe or spear, try archery, all at the Raiders’ Viking Weapons Range.   Test your strength at the Viking Log Toss.  Take part in contests like the Famous Fish Fling, Battle Cry, or Horn Blowing Competitions!  New this year, the “Fear the Beard” contest
Enjoy live Viking/Celtic style music on two stages.  Scheduled to appear: Highland Way, the Dread Crew of Oddwood, Raggle Taggle, and Clan.  For your laughing pleasure, the Bawdy Juggler.  And to stir your Viking soul, the ancient rhythms of Odin’s Drummers.  While you are entertained, feast on Nordic food and quench your thirst with ale or mead, some brewed exclusively for our festival.
KidZone offers painting of wooden shields and swords, jumping in the Bouncy Castle, Face Painting , Rune Quest and more.  Enter the nearby Norway Hall for Fresh Lefse, Meatball Meals, Norwegian Cookies, Scandinavian Crafts and non-alcoholic beverages.
All roads lead to the Vendors’ Village!  Search their stalls for helmets, drinking horns and mugs, swords, Viking jewelry and Valkyrie attire.  And as you stroll through the shady Northern Territory, see Vikings casting pewter, yarn dying, weaving and baking bread in clay ovens.
